Taboo OCD is one of the most common presentations of OCD, yet it is the most hidden.

POCD is the nickname for the OCD subtype called “Pedophilic OCD.” This OCD theme features obsessions that one might have pedophilic tendencies, like fears they may harm a child.
These intrusive thoughts, images, or urges are disturbing and unwanted in people with POCD and are not indicative of true pedophilia.

Harm OCD is a name for an overarching theme of OCD that consists of violence, losing control, and/or hurting others. Some people may fear killing themselves, hurting others, or committing other acts of violence.
You might also hear this called Suicidal OCD, Homicidal OCD, or Violent Obsessions.

If you have OCD, you may experience intrusive thoughts, images, or urges of sexual content. Some people may have obsessions about incest, beastiality, or necrophilia.
These thoughts are ego-dystonic, meaning they are unwanted and disturbing to the individual.
